The pilot partner
OpenAn established company with high-volume mechatronic products, offering one real product as the test case for whether a product qualified at one hub can be validated at a second certified hub quickly, without being rebuilt.
An open invitation, not a vacancy: several people can take it at once, and it carries no number until you commit to something specific. This page says what Moduloa hopes for and where a first contribution could start.
Why Moduloa needs this
A qualification stops at the site boundary: move a product and the new factory has to prove it again, which for automotive-grade electronics can take a year or more. Moduloa's central proposal is that a blueprint validated once can be revalidated quickly, not rebuilt, at any hub certified to the same standard, and only a real product in volume can test that (register claims P-10 and P-27). Moduloa owns no product line, so the test needs a partner who does.
What you would bring
- A portfolio of mechatronic products in volume production, with at least one stable product under revision control, its design and validation done.
- First-hand experience moving a product between factories or qualifying a second source: what had to be proven again, how long it took, and why.
- An NPI or industrialization team that can own the design side: acceptance criteria, test specifications and engineering changes.
- A real reason to want manufacturing optionality: dependence on one factory, tariffs, energy cost or lead time.
Tasks that suit you
Each has a plain test for done. Ask to commit to one: name what you will deliver and a date no more than three months after it is accepted. Several people can work on the same task, each with its own deliverable.
- J-03 Blueprint transfer protocol · Two to three weeks · Ask to commit to J-03 →
- W-02 The pilot product category · Two to three weeks · Ask to commit to W-02 →
Other first deliverables
Each is specific enough that by its date anyone can tell whether it was delivered. Some are a task above in a smaller form. Name one, or a better one.
- A written account of one product transfer or second-source qualification you ran, publishable named or anonymized: what was proven again, the time it took and the effort it cost. It tests the requalification ranges on the Manufacturing page.
- Nominate a candidate product for the pilot product category and test it against the intake standard v0.1 and the tier calculator, reporting where each breaks.
- Write the evidence you would need before accepting a second site as qualified, set against the three portability checks on the industrialization page. It becomes input to the pilot hub plan.
What this is, and is not
Not a manufacturing contract or a pilot run: no hub exists to run one, and no date can be promised. Taking part carries no exclusivity, reserved capacity or special terms later, because published term T-01 gives every customer the same pricing model.
When your commitment is accepted, it shows on the task and on your seat card, and a first commitment takes the next permanent number on the register, with your name, a link and your date. When the work is delivered in the open you are aboard and a certificate is issued. Nothing is paid for a seat and none is for sale: on its own a seat carries no equity and no supplier position, and any paid work is agreed separately, on its own terms. The entry stays either way: a commitment not delivered by its date is marked lapsed and dated, never removed.
Pick a task that suits you and ask to commit to it, or name your own first deliverable: what you will deliver and a date no more than three months after it is accepted. Write to shk@moduloa.com, or use the link on any task, which opens the contact page with the subject filled in. It does not have to be large. It has to be specific enough that anyone can tell by its date whether it was delivered.
